Overview

ripple ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use ripple, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ripple you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password when you sign up.
  • Billing information — payment details processed by Stripe. We never store raw card numbers.
  • Profile data — your website URL, company name, and competitor domains you configure.

We also collect information automatically when you use ripple:

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and actions taken inside the product.
  • Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URL.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and understand how the product is used.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the ripple platform.
  • Process billing and manage your subscription.
  • Send you product updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Personalise your experience and surface relevant insights.
  • Monitor and protect against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Data sharing

We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors (Supabase for auth/database, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of ripple or others.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before that happens.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are legally required to keep it longer (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@ripple.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

ripple uses cookies to keep you authenticated and to understand how the product is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may break core functionality like staying signed in.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children

ripple is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of ripple after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
